Carwyn Jones, Longstanding Member of Chambers, Appointed First Minister of Wales
Carwyn Jones, a Door Tenant of Temple Chambers for many years has been elected leader of the Welsh Assembly.
Chambers would like to congratulate Carwyn on being appointed First Minister of Wales. He is the AM for Bridgend and held the post of rural affairs minister before taking the position of counsel general in Rhodri Morgan's administration.

Carwyn maintained a door tenancy in chambers when he moved from Swansea, where he had developed his practice at the bar, to Cardiff as he became involved in national politics. Born in 1967, he was educated at Brynteg Comprehensive School, Bridgend, University of Wales, Aberystwyth and Inns of Court School of Law, London. Along with his Family, Criminal and Personal Injury practice at the Bar he also tutored on the Bar Vocational Course at Cardiff University
