Intellectual property law (IP) is a new area of expertise for Temple Chambers, which covers IP topics such as copyright law; internet and domain name disputes; trademarks; design law; passing off breach of confidence/ confidentiality, defamation and sui generis areas such as databases; semi conductor topography chips and circumvention of technological protection measures.
Jane Foulser McFarlane who has an LLM in international commercial and maritime law, with emphasis on international IP law has been appointed as lead counsel in IP for the Welsh Assembly commission.
