Specialist Family Law practitioner.
Called to the Bar in 1998, Colin undertook pupillage at 32 Park Place, prior to the merger with Newport Chambers. Colin quickly specialised in Family Law. He now practices in all aspects of Children Act cases and has an extensive experience in all aspects of public and private law work, particularly in child care proceedings.
Colin has acted for local authorities, parents and children's guardians in a wide range of proceedings.

Re A (child) 19/10/06 reported on lawtel.
Court of Appeal considered discretion of final judge to rule out paternal family maternity as potential carers for child on an assessment by both local authority and guardian. The Court held that the international social services must do such an assessment.
