Temple Chambers is a progressive barristers' set whose members practice from two locations. With buildings in Cardiff and Newport chambers are able to operate easily throughout South Wales. Members of chambers practice from the different cities and all members have resources and facilities at both locations.
A traditional common law set, Temple Chambers predominantly undertakes Criminal and Family Law. There is a Civil Team and some practitioners have other specialist fields. In recent years Chambers has seen significant growth, not only in the number of barristers practicing from the two buildings but also in terms of reach of service provision and breadth of professional client cover.

Members currently practicing in chambers include a Deputy High Court Judge, four Recorders, three Deputy District Judges, a part time Chairman of the Mental Health Tribunal, a part-time Chairman of the Social Security Appeals Tribunal and a part-time Residential Property Tribunal Chair. All degrees of experience are represented with a solid middle order and thriving group of new practitioners.
Temple Chambers sets itself apart from its competitors in the approachability and professionalism of its members. Our barristers bring these two attributes together in order that advice received or court appearances will produce both satisfaction and understanding of the law and procedure involved.
